Andrea Tana was born in Los Angeles and studied with the painters Rosenthal S. Paulo and D. Royer and in London with Marijan Kratochuril where she now lives. The theme of kimonos and fans are a significant part of her work stemming from a long-held interest in Japanese 18th and 19th century art. For the last five years Andrea has been concentrating on the art of etching spending much of her time working at the new Rebecca Hossack Gallery. Since 1973 her work has been exhibited in many galleries in London, New York and Los Angeles.
